At Pineapple Sol, boxed lunch catering in Cary costs $15 to $19 per person, depending on which bundle you choose and how many people you order for. Every box is individually packed and labeled, and bundles come in sets of 12, 16, or 20. Boxed lunch prices per person
These are our four lunch bundles. The price per person drops as the bundle gets bigger, so the cheapest way to feed 20 is one 20-serving bundle rather than two smaller ones.

Boxed lunches vs. platters: which costs less?
If your team is happy to serve itself, platters cost a little less per person than individual boxes:
- Wrap platter: $110, serves 8 (about $13.75 per person)
- Sandwich platter: $120, serves 8 (about $15 per person)
- Family style salads: market $80, Caesar $85, Thai almond $90, each serving 10
Boxes cost slightly more but solve the problems platters create: no serving line, no guessing who took what, and every box is labeled, which matters when a few people have allergies or dietary needs. For client meetings, trainings, and anything where people eat at their desks or on the go, boxes are usually the better fit.
Fees and policies to plan for
- Notice: at least 48 business hours, so everything is made fresh for your date.
- Delivery: $150 minimum for delivery, and delivery is free above it. Every lunch bundle on this page clears the minimum on its own.
- Service charge: 3.75% on orders placed directly with us.
- Changes and cancellations: free until 24 hours before your event; within 24 hours, a 25% fee applies.
How much boxed lunch to order
Plan on one box per person, then round up to the next bundle size: 12, 16, or 20. A team of 14 is a 16-serving bundle, which leaves two spare boxes for the people who show up unannounced. For larger groups, combine bundles. Two worked examples:
- A 12-person team meeting: a 12-serving Salad Bundle ($180) plus a cookie platter ($35, serves 16) comes to $215, or about $17.92 per person before tax and any ordering fees.
- A 30-person training day: a 16-serving Wrap Bundle ($255) and a 16-serving Sandwich Bundle ($275) give you 32 boxes for $530, about $16.56 per box, with two kinds of lunch to choose from.
Mixing bundles is also the easiest way to cover dietary needs. The Wrap Bundle includes a falafel wrap, the Sandwich Bundle includes a caprese sandwich, and the Bowl Bundle includes a falafel bowl, so vegetarian options are built in rather than special-ordered.

All meat in our boxed lunches and bowls is halal. Vegetarian boxes are part of the standard bundles, gluten-free bread and wraps can be swapped in, and if you flag allergies in your order notes we label the boxes to match.
